QUEER PEOPLE ARE DYING
Queer people are dying. Every 45 seconds, a queer young person attempts to take their life. 41% of the community seriously considers suicide every year. Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for queer 18-24 year olds right now.
Research shows that suicide rates cut in half when an individual has one thing: community. The Boston Queer Club provides just that. Do you want to help?

WELCOME TO THE BQC
The Boston Queer Club (BQC) is the first hub for queer young adult social life in the greater Boston area. We exist to help LGBTQ+ individuals ages 18–24 find their people, build friendships, and feel a true sense of belonging. Unlike dating apps, school clubs, or nightlife spaces, the BQC is designed as a purely social network—bringing together queer college-aged people through engaging events like comedy shows, concerts, and open mic nights. At its core, our product is community: a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone can show up authentically and connect meaningfully.
When you join the BQC, you’re not just attending an event—you’re stepping into a space built around care, creativity, and connection. Through our signature Pink Promise initiative, members pledge to foster safe and affirming spaces for one another, creating a visible symbol of trust and support within our community. By cultivating these connections, we aim to reduce the isolation and anxiety that too many LGBTQ+ young people face, while empowering our members with confidence, friendship, and joy. The BQC is more than a club—it’s a movement to democratize queer connection and redefine what it means to find your people.
A PRIVATE CLUB... WITH A TWIST
Pay to play - In order to access the club and its events, members must commit to playing by our rules. That all happens in the Pink Promise.

A PURPOSE-DRIVEN SOCIAL CLUB
A purpose-driven social club inspired by the diversely built, socially dependent queer collegiate communities that form our Boston neighborhoods.
